Club Albufeira Apartments

Many of the apartments on Club Albufeira are privately owned and they are therefore tastefully furnished and equipped as a home from home holiday base for the owners themselves.

However as many owners do not live in Portugal and have purchased their apartments not only as a holiday base but also as an investment, they offer their apartments for rental for the majority of the year.

To ensure the smooth running of the rentals to holiday-makers, the owners pay for an on-site manageress and an annual fee to the Club Albufeira for the upkeep of the pools,gardens and any repairs necessary to the apartments.

Additionally the owners are required to pay for the utilities ,electric,water, waste disposal and cleaning of the apartments.The weekly rental prices quoted to our guests are fully inclusive of all such costs and is solely for the hire of the apartment itself.

When 6 guests share the cost of an apartment this represents a considerable saving when compared to paying hotel prices for each person.

As the apartments are self-catering further savings can be made! Drinks can be refrigerated at less cost than the traditional mini-bar of a hotel and during a week's holiday, dining in, rather than going to restaurants for every meal translates into a huge savings on food alone.

The apartments themselves offer far more space than a hotel room or a cramped cabin on a cruise and wake-up times are independent of hotel routines.


Types of Apartment

 T1 type - has one main double bedroom and bathroom

Club Albufeira T1 Type of apartment

T2 type - has two double bedrooms each with their own full bathroom

Owners advertise extra sleeping capacity when counting the double sofa bed in the lounge area, e.g a T2 apartment is advertised as sleeping 4-6 persons and a T3 apartment is advertised as sleeping 6-8 persons.

Unfortunately the door widths of the apartments do not permit wheel chair access.

Location of Apartments

 Presently there are three main areas;

Area 1 - apartments are clustered around a pool with a restaurant and very close to the reception office

Area 2 - apartments are clustered around the largest of the pools and still close to the on-site restaurant and reception office.

Area 3 - known as the "Albufeira Village".The apartments are clustered around the smallest of the three pools and a childrens` play area. These apartments are at the highest part of the holiday complex and are furthest away from the on-site restaurant and reception office.

South facing apartments will naturally keep the sun for longer times throughout the day.

Pool-side apartments and those close to the main road can be somewhat noisy if tranquility is required.

Whilst ground floor apartments have more terrace space and direct access to gardens, they can lack privacy from passers-by and may not contain young children from wandering off.

First floor apartments have less balcony space, but can be more private and the walls of the balcony prevent children from wandering off.
